Rental Description

Our Carolina Skiffs are the gold standard for versatile coastal exploration and serious fishing. Known for their legendary shallow draft, these boats allow you to navigate through thinner waters and reach hidden island spots that larger boats simply can’t access. With a 6-passenger capacity, they offer the perfect balance of agility and space. The skiff is designed for ease of handling, allowing you to creep along the shoreline or position yourself perfectly for the catch of the day. Each rental includes a T-top for shade and enough power to get you to your destination quickly. It is a rugged, reliable, and high-performing choice for anglers and small families alike.

During the season, our boats are available for rent 7 days a week, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. All boats are approved for navigation within the Intracoastal Waterway only — ocean operation is strictly prohibited.

Each rental includes:

U.S. Coast Guard-approved life preservers
A complete first aid kit
A full tank of fuel

Important rules:

No ocean operation
No night operation
No towing of any kind (persons or equipment)
Taxes and fuel are additional
No cash refunds — time credits only

Fuel Policy:
Each boat is provided with a full tank of fuel at the start of your rental. Upon your return, our staff will refuel the vessel, and you will be responsible for the cost of the fuel used during your trip to fill the tank back up.

How many people can fit on a Skiff?

The Carolina Skiff has a 6-passenger maximum. This limit is strictly enforced to ensure the boat’s performance and safety while navigating local waters.

Do I need to bring my own life jacket?

No, we provide all necessary life jackets and safety equipment. We ensure that children and adults are fitted with the appropriate gear before departure.

Can I take the Skiff to the islands?

Absolutely. The Skiff’s shallow draft makes it the ideal “island hopper.” You can easily navigate to local sandbars and shallow inlets that are perfect for shelling.

What should I bring for a fishing trip?

We provide the boat and the shade; you should bring your own fishing tackle, bait, and a valid NC fishing license. Coolers are welcome on board!
